Captain Gail Braden

Stanley Bargel, a tailor, became enraged when ordered to close his shop which had been declared a fire hazard. He went to City Hall and shot and killed Fire Inspector Braden. The suspect fled the scene and committed suicide. Weapon used was a automatic pistol. Honored on the Kansas Firefighters Museum Memorial.
