Glendon E. Turner

Glendon "Glen" Turner, 51, a Senior Compliance Officer, was murdered while inspecting a property for reports of illegal land clearing. Turner was shot to death by the land owner who continued to shoot the victim multiple times as he tried to flee. This was a running dispute with the Officer regarding previous enforcement for illegal land clearing in the Croppa Creek area. The suspect was convicted of murdering Turner and sentenced to life in prison. He later died in custody from a heart attack.
