Jill Robinson

Jill had an open case on a property for multiple violations. She arrived at the property to meet with the property owner. The suspect, Kevin Wayne Billings, was waiting for her outside with a shotgun. As she rolled her vehicle window down to speak with him, he fired into the truck. She jumped out and tried to run, but he retrieved a handgun from a bag on his walker and shot her multiple times. He then set her body and truck on fire and went on to set a neighbor's house on fire. Police arrived and took him into custody. Jill's dedication to code enforcement was at the heart of law enforcement, and she was post-humously awarded the department's highest award. Kevin Billings was sentenced to life in prison.
