Kathy Ann Cox

Kathy had a 30 year law enforcement career and previously served as a juvenile probation officer. She transitioned to Gordon County Code Enforcement. She was driving to an area of the county to investigate a fire when an oncoming commercial concrete truck struck her vehicle. Her truck caught fire and she passed away. Thousands of people came to her funeral service, with a procession made up of first responders. Her name was added to the Fallen Officers wall at the Georgia Public Safety Training Center.
