Mario Morales

Mario Morales, La Mirada's Senior Code Enforcement Specialist, passed away on Thursday evening, April 4. He was unexpectedly and tragically taken from us while doing yard work at his home. Mario began his professional career with the City of La Mirada in December 2013, when he was hired to serve the City as a part-time Code Enforcement Officer. He was promoted to full-time in 2014. He had a positive attitude, was a constant source of encouragement at City Hall, and represented La Mirada with pride. He was a dedicated husband and father, avid camper, accomplished handyman, and master griller. Mario often shared with others at City Hall updates regarding his backyard projects and camping trips.
