Murder

Tom Quadros

Tom went to inspect a meat facility, Santos Linguisa Factory, with three other inspectors. They had a history of regulatory compliance issues with the family-run business. Stuart Alexander, known as the “sausage king,” was upset with the inspectors. During the follow-up inspection, Alexander walked up and shot Jean Hillery, Tom Quadros, and Bill Shaline, execution-style. He then chased down and shot a fourth inspector who managed to get away. The murders were captured on the facility's surveillance video. Stuart Charles Alexander was convicted of three counts of first-degree murder and sentenced to death on February 15, 2005. He died on death row on December 27, 2015.
