Valerie Nieto Cisneros

Valerie passed away due to complications from COVID-19. She was the third known Officer to pass away from COVID-19. Valerie served the City of San Antonio for 17 years. Outside of work, she married and raised a family in San Antonio. She loved reading about the US Constitution and bird watching with her family. From her Supervisor: "I supervised Valerie for the last three years and have never seen someone care for her community as always as her. Short on stature, but tall on character and professionalism she dedicated her code enforcement career to serving one of the most impoverished areas of the City."
