2020 - Fresno Police are investigating a possible assault, after a woman hit a code enforcement officer with her car.

FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — Fresno Police are investigating a possible assault, after a woman hit a code enforcement officer with her car.
Fresno Police say a Code Enforcement Officer was headed out of the Target at Blackstone and Bullard, when the owner of a nail salon he'd cited before came out to give him a piece of her mind.
Fresno Police say the Code Enforcement Officer started arguing with her, too, and walked around behind her car while filming.
Broadcastify recorded the officer saying, "They're yelling at me about being Code Enforcement and blah blah blah."
Because he was standing there, he was blocking her in.
The salon owner told police she tried to leave, but accidentally bumped him.
Sound recorded over Broadcastify caught the Code Enforcement Officer saying he didn't need an ambulance and was okay, but he later told a police Sergeant his knee started hurting.
