New Officers Elected

The Board has selected its new officers for FY 25-26.

Every June, the Foundation has its annual business meeting to elect its officers for the coming year. Board members are volunteer and do not have term limits. Officers are elected to one year terms. The Foundation was founded in 2020 and is a registered 501c3 nonprofit charity that promotes officer safety and risk management for Code Officials across the globe.

We want to thank Tim Sun for his leadership over the last year as President and Jeremy Kovinchick for his service as Secretary/Treasurer for the last 3.5 years.

President Travis D. Guess - Travis served as Vice President over the last year and is a Founding Board Member since 2020. He is a Building Official/Fire Marshal in Oklahoma and has served as President of the Oklahoma Code Enforcement Association (OCEA). We look forward to his leadership!

Vice President Tim Sun - Tim has previously served as President and Vice President since founding the Code Enforcement Officer Safety Foundation in 2020. He is currently a Code Enforcement Manager in California and a Certified Officer Safety Instructor. He instructs on numerous topics nationally and in California. The formation of this Foundation was Tim's idea since 2018.

Secretary/Treasurer Kirk L. Palmer - Kirk is a Founding Board Member since 2020. He is a Senior Code Enforcement Officer in Georgia with nearly 30 years of law enforcement experience. Kirk is a Certified Officer Safety Instructor and instructs at the GACE conferences.

Congratulations on the appointments! We are grateful for all of our volunteers who help build CEOSF to what it is! A special thank you to our other Board Members Jeremy Kovinchick and Jeanette Loven.
