The Foundation meets with the CEO of Safe Life Defense (body armor) and tours their new facility in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Las Vegas, Nevada - The Foundation met with the CEO of Safe Life Defense who produces body armor and other accessories. They are one of the countries largest body armor producers. Since the Foundation started, we have only donated Safe Life Defense body armor. Safe Life Defense has been so successful they just moved to a larger new facility to have room to grow. The facility has a show room, offices, manufacturing, testing area, patch area, and tons of storage.
President Justin Edson, Vice President Tim Sun, and Region 1 Representative Matthew Meanea met with Nick to walk through the facility, see new products, fire rounds into a vest, look at how they make patches, and discuss our relationship. We are grateful for the time Nick took out of his day to meet with us and give us a personal tour.
The Foundation looks forward to our continued conversations with Nick and his team to see how we can best support our colleagues across the country. This is a step in the right direction where CEOSF is advocating for the best safety options for Code Officials across the nation.
